Insignificance

Have you ever felt that moment
When all around you is rolling on
And you are rolling with it
And nobody cares?

That moment when you realise
That all around you, people are being born
And people are starving to death
And you have no control at all?

But when you think about it hard
You realise you are insignificant
To the world, and no one cares
What happens to your life.

But then have you ever felt that moment
When you meet someone who really loves you
And to them, the world is rolling around
But you aren't rolling with it?

You are stopped in time
With them alongside
While the world rolls along
And nobody cares?
