The other day I was talking to some one when he told me that there are 2 kinds of people in this world:
1) One who takes life as it comes
2) One who sets targets for himself and lives to achieve them
Does that mean that the person who lives each day does not have goals in life? I agree here with my friend that there are definitely 2 kinds of people but I still believe that even the 1st kind of person has goals in life, the only difference being that he does not spend his present all the time worrying about future. And I truly think that that person is better than the second one whose mind is always occupied about future and tensed rather than enjoying the moment although both kinds are not wrong. :)

I think I would disagree... because if you have goals means somewhere you want to achieve them. Then you would need to match where you are today with where you want to be tomorrow and how the two connect. This will lead you to think...
If you mean 1st kind of person has goals but don't spend all the time worrying about them... and take each day as it comes... then I guess those are not goals but more like dreams.... :)
The main difference is whether you plan or don't plan. Whether you drift or don't drift....
I think what is true for today's age is that people plan different things at different levels. So you may plan your career but you will not plan your weekends.
I believe that itz always good to live ur present fully. DOn't need to carried away by future or past much. Mere memory of past and a ambitious futuure will do. U don't need to die for ur future. Present is the reality.
